Everybody seems to want to get more done, including me.

I know for a fact that I will run out of life before I accomplish everything I want to accomplish…or will I? (there’s whole other email about “wants” that I will leave dormant for now)

Is there a way to get more done in less time?

History shows that some people do in fact accomplish more than others.

So what’s the secret?

Secret Sauce Numero Uno: Parkinson’s Law

“work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion”

Secret Sauce Number Two: Pareto Principle (close enough to a law)

“roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes”

If you ruthlessly and relentlessly apply these to your life, your life will expand and multiply.

You will…

– Get more done.

– Do less of the unimportant.

We will delve into the productivity “scam” tomorrow.

Until then see what you can apply Parkinson’s Law or Pareto’s Principle to.
