I am a HUGE proponent of focusing on prevention to prevent the need for treatment in the areas of health, fitness, and wellness.  I am a firm believer that prioritizing the health, fitness, and wellbeing of your mind, body, and soul will pay enormous dividends for your life account.

I am also a huge believer in the work we do at Kvell where we provide in-person on-site coaching and fitness services.  We are helping people live better lives through enhanced health, fitness, and wellbeing.

Thus, when I was faced with closing down the shop to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or stay open to keep our Kvellians healthy it was not an easy choice.  I know for a fact that many people will not continue to exercise when they do not have Kvell to come to.  I also know that as a proud member of the human race and the Boise community it would be irresponsible for me to stay open.

Since prevention is a core value and driving force the more immediate threat won out.  I canceled all training sessions so that the Kvell Crew is part of the solution instead of the problem.  I chose to be safe and sorry.  Right choice?  Wrong choice?  Who knows at this point only time will tell and that is how most tough choices are.

COVID-19 is a good metaphor for life right now.  It is unknown, rapidly evolving, and yet still everybody has their own strong opinion on what should be done.  We are only able to act on that which we know and there is a lot unknown.  YET, we must make choices and do what we think at the current moment is the best option until time reveals another split in the road and we are faced with yet another tough choice.

Life is nothing more than a cascade of choices make with the available information.  The ocean of life will turn out exactly how it is meant to turn out and we will do our best to navigate our ships amongst its turbulent waters.
