The better you take care of your body the better it will take care of you.

Extreme fitness and competitive sport as a general rule are counter-productive to long-term health.

I spent my fair share of time beating my body up and I will pay for it as I age.

The integrity of your joints, tendons, and ligaments is paramount to long term use.

If you don’t take care of them you’ll pay for it in the long run.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t do sport or extreme fitness, that’s your call as it is your body and your life.

I want to ensure I do my part in making sure you know what you’re getting yourself into.

The harder you push your body with extreme fitness, gymnastic tricks, and playing sports the more wear and tear on your body.

It comes down to the type of life you want to live.

This week I will be covering different aspects of this idea and how to ensure you have a functional body for years.

Until tomorrow think about what type of life you want to live.

One of extremes for as long as you can…

or…

One where you can enjoy your body for as long as you live?
