According to Zach Bush MD, “you are made of atoms that are 99.999% vacuum space. Only 0.001% of human tissue and the earth is actually solid.”

Whoa!

This is worth paying attention to.  All of that empty space is there for a reason, we may not know what that reason is yet, but it most certainly is a powerful one.

Yet, in our day to day lives, we attempt to remove the open space.  We cram as many events and activities into our life as possible.  Just like with exercise we need time to rest.  Our brain and body need open space.

Unless you give yourself space away from the things you think you love, the things you think you enjoy, and the things you think you need to continue to do you will never be able to see the whole picture.  Think of a friend who was stuck in a relationship that you knew was not the right fit and yet they couldn’t see it.  This is because they don’t have space.  Once that person gets out of the relationship and gets space they soon come to grips with the fact that they should have done it sooner.

Work more space into your calendar.  You will be happier, healthier, and perform better in the things that you really care about.

Give yourself space to breathe, recover, think, ponder, wonder, digest, and just be.
