Often the things you do go unnoticed by those you do them for.
- The parents that work tirelessly to ensure their children have what they need when they need it and then some often don’t get as much as a thank you.
– The business owners that go the extra mile and do the little things that go unnoticed and have no impact on the business but do them because they are the right things to do.
– The person that holds the door or elevator for a stranger.
Often what you do is not and will not be outwardly appreciated or rewarded.
Yet, you carry on. You carry on because you know that what you do is as much for you as it is for them. You carry on because that is simply who you are. You carry on because of love. You carry on because you cannot imagine a world otherwise.
Without people helping people the world would be a dreary and dreadful place. Not a place most of us would want to live and thus you must continue to carry on helping, supporting, and nurturing.
