Your muscles will consistently burn up and break down and continue to break down and they don’t have time to build back up. And active recovery might be all day the next day. Your active recovery does not mean sitting on the couch. Your active recovery means going on a walk and drink a lot of water or doing something active and doing Dynamic stretching and doing a warm-up or something active still.
