When we open back up, everything will be the same. We will have in person workouts and we will have the foam rolling video start at the beginning of each session. Each session starts with foam rolling. Foam rolling helps break down any knots, adhesions or unhealthy tissue. We start with foam rolling, then we put the foam rollers away and then watch the demo of the workout. The demo of the workout will have the owner demonstrating all the moves you will see that day. There will be three different levels and each level is for different fitness levels. Level one is the foundation of fitness. Level two and three have more and more dynamic movements.
The demo of the workout will show all the levels, when you first start out we recommend just focusing on the level you will be starting at. Then we have a warm up video, the warm up video will have different movements to help increase your flexibility, mobility and joint stability. All of these are super important for overall health. We don’t want you to get injured so that is why we have all of these movements. We change them about every three months so you can really benefit from each and every movement.
An example of the warm up is a downward facing dog, we see at the beginning of this movement everybody’s heels are up in the air because their calves dont have a lot of mobility or flexibility. But we noticed as the three months went on their calves started getting more and more flexible and people were touching their heels to the ground. When that happened they were more and more flexible. That means they can do more dynamic movements without injuring themselves. No one wants to get injured. We have low impact, high reward movements to make sure no one gets injured. We want you to stay consistent and consistently get stronger rather than go all out all at once.
If you get injured and burn up and break down then you will be more likely to get injured and then you will be out for a while. Your habit will go away and you will need to get back into the swing of things. Getting out of the groove is a slippery slope that we try and avoid.
