Muscles are super important to lose weight and get toned. At Kvell, we do 45 minute workout sessions that focus on both total body strength training and endurance. With both of these, they work on your cardiovascular health as well as your muscles. Gaining muscle is more than just the appearance of your muscles, we also want your tendons and ligaments to be strong so you don’t get tendonitis. That is a 6 week recovery time and it happens when you over work your tendons and ligaments before they are strong enough to do certain movements. When you have to recover from that, you will ruin some of your progress because you can’t workout as hard.
We focus on getting your tendons and ligaments strong before we go to heavier weights. That is the level one movements. The level one movements are made to strengthen your tendons and ligaments and your muscles.
