I do not live close to a Kvell Fitness facility, do you have anything I can do?

Not a problem! We offer many online and distance programs to ensure that you have no limitations in your ability to Kvell. If you are want to optimize your health and fitness but you do not live near a Kvell Facility go to our contact page and we will figure out a program that will work for you.

I cannot make it to a Kvell facility on a regular basis because of my crazy travel and work schedule, do you have anything for me?

Yes, we do. Some programs that are good options for you include our online nutrition coaching, online workout design and training program, or our high-performance coaching services.

I ONLY need help with my nutrition, can you help?

Absolutely! Nutrition coaching is one of our specialties. Without proper nutrition, it is impossible to achieve optimal health, wellbeing, and performance. We are passionate about helping people create lifelong sustainable nutrition habits. We do this through our many nutrition coaching programs. Click on the “Contact Us” tab to get in touch with us to discuss the nutrition program that is the best fit for you.

Do you have showers?

No. Our clients make it work. Some of them take a bird bath in the bathroom sink, some take pride in their sweatiness, and MOST go back home to shower or have a shower in their office building. We do have changing rooms.

When are you going to have a Kvell Fitness and Nutrition in Meridian Idaho?

Due to COVID we closed our Meridian Kvell and Eagle Kvell locations.  However, as soon as things pick back up we will be looking to re-expand. We are always looking at the possibility of opening more locations.

When are you going to bring Kvell Fitness and Nutrition [insert state]?

As soon as it makes sense for us as a business. We have people who have experience our program from Alaska to New York who keep bugging us to open a Kvell facility in their state. We plan on it as soon as it makes sense from a business standpoint. Until then if you do not live in a state where a Kvell facility resides you can contact us in regards to our distance programs.

What do I need to bring to workouts?

We provide all of the necessary equipment.  However, a few things that you may want to bring include a water bottle, hand towel to wipe sweat from your brow, and hair tie.  We also require you wear squeaky clean shoes to ensure the training floor stays pristine for all to enjoy and bath in all of its beauty.

Will I be sore?

It depends but most likely.  It is never our goal to make you sore.  Being sore is a result of microtrauma at the cellular level caused by forcing your body to do things it hasn’t done in awhile or hasn’t done at a specific level in quite some time if ever.  We try hard to mitigate your soreness by ensuring you do not overexert yourself the first few sessions you train with us.  If you are consistent worker-outer before joining Kvell then you will probably only feel a small amount of soreness.  If you are brand new to working out or you haven’t worked out in two or more weeks then your soreness may be a little more severe.  Again, we highly encourage you to do less than you feel or think you can do for at least the first week.  We have plenty of time to go full throttle once your body is ready.  Going full throttle before your body is ready can lead to injury and a soreness that you probably thought could only be inflicted by god almighty.

How do I speed up the recovery process and reduce muscular soreness or DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness)?

DOMS, DA, DOM, DOM, DOMS.  Our old friend delayed onset muscle soreness is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing.  It lays in the cut until day two after your workout and then it springs on you like the furry of millions of African army ants devouring your soul to live in sheer seconds.  A few things that will help tremendously in the rapid reduction of DOMS.  Drink water, at least half of your body weight in ounces (closer to 0.7 ounces per pound of body weight is better).  Walk, walk, and walk some more.  The more you can get and keep your blood moving the better.  Take a twenty-minute warm Epsom salt bath.  Do another workout utilizing the same muscles to “work the soreness out”.   Lastly, for prevention purposes never allow yourself to go more than one week without some form of exercise.

Do you offer athlete training, personal training, corporate wellness, etc?

Yes.  We offer everything you could ever imagine when it comes to general health, fitness, and nutrition.  We do not offer specific training in areas like strongman training, bodybuilding, and figure competitions.  Nearly everything outside of those three specialties we offer or can offer if it makes sense.  For a more detailed list of what we specialize, go to the Contact Us page.

Do you offer programs for children who are not sports athletes or after school programs?

Yes.  We are passionate about helping children understand and enjoy the benefits of exercise and healthy eating.  We love to facilitate after-school programs to ensure children are getting their required daily activity and having fun while doing it.  To learn more about all of the programs we have available go to our Contact Us page.

Does Brett ever smile?

In person.  No.  For pictures, sometimes.  Don’t take it personally.  This does not mean he doesn’t like you or isn’t happy.  It just means that he is so deeply entrenched in figuring out how to improve the service of Kvell that he forgot to tell his face he was happy, thus the stoic appearance that he is so infamous for is because there is not a moment of the day where he is not actively working to determine a better more efficient way to serve the clients of Kvell and the world.  🙂 All jokes aside Brett is passionate about helping you achieve your goals.

Working out at Kvell is fun. Working on a command Kvell effective as well. Kvell is the best gym in Boise to work out because we are 45 minutes long. That means it does not take a whole lot of time to get a total body workout. You won’t have to worry about missing a leg day. Won’t have to worry about missing an arm day. Each workout is only 45 minutes long and it’s a total body workout. Total body training means it’s a fast-paced workout environment. You’re also going to foam roll and are also going to warm up. That means you’re going to involve your flexibility and be flushing lactic acid. You’re going to feel better when you leave there when you come in. Considering it is only a 45-minute long session and it might be a little challenging for some. It might be a little challenging to get the hang of things. But after a while you’ll get the hang of things and be very easy to follow. You don’t need to do anything. You don’t need to think about anything besides following what we do. The first thing to do is start. Early. And that starts right on the dot. Right in the session, the Family Video will start. You don’t need to know how to formally just follow the video on the screen. The video on the screen is really easy to follow and you will be familiar with nobody. We saw your whole body so it will feel really good. You’re going to get rid of any notifications on healthy tissue you may have.

The next thing you do is you’re going to warm up. Kvell is the best gym in Boise to work out because it involves a warm-up and fumbling as well. That means you’re going to be mobile and warmed up before the workout. The warm-up helps increase your flexibility, mobility and joint stability. The warm-up will be on a video as well so you follow along with that. But that’s why the coaching came around to make sure your forms dialed in immediately. We’ll make sure the form is dilated by you doing the warm-up to make it most effective for my possible. The warm-ups are really good to make sure that you were being more flexible and less sore before and after the workout.

After the warm-up then you’re going to do the workout. The workout is on three different screens in the Boise facility. The workout is on three different screens so you can check back whenever. But you see a demo of the workout as well. To see a demo so you’ll know exactly what these movements are and how to do them. If it’s a no and then you’ll be able to follow along with a demo. You’ll be able to follow along and then you’ll be able to do the workouts on your own. But then you’re never on your own because the coaches are there for you every step of the way. The coaches will make sure you’re in the right spot at the right time. And the coaches will make sure you’re doing everything properly. The coaches are there for you every step of the way and they’re going to correct your form they’re going to be one, they’re going to encourage you.

Kvell is the best gym in Boise to learn good form. A lot of people have a gym their whole lives. And they may not know exactly what the correct form is. And that happens. A lot of people don’t know what they’re correct, that just happened that way. You do what you think you need to do. You may have learned some things in high school but your body has changed since then. But you were here to teach you the good form. The coaches are there to make sure your phone is cracked all the time so you don’t get injured. We want you to make sure that your phone is cracked so you get the most effective workout possible. I want to make sure it’s effective and it works multiple muscles at once. Learning good form is something everyone can improve on. I really could improve on that form. But we are here to make sure that your form is the best I could be right now. Getting your farm down the super important to getting the best workout possible. Even if it’s little changes such as engaging your ass when doing shoulder press. That means you’re getting a nap work out and getting shoulder press work out. That means we’re going to the shoulder Center at the same time. Org means making sure your knee is out when doing a loan. That’s also really important to make sure you don’t get into it. We don’t want you to get injured and your knees especially can get injured doing the wrong movement.

General movements that only want to invoice you and make sure to invite movements. And Kvell is the best gym in Boise, I learned good form because the coaches are there for you every step of the way. The coaches are there for you and they’ll be walking around and Christian form. Also be encouraging you in a few doing something right you will know. The coaches will cheer you on the coaches will get hey face and make sure that you’re doing everything right. What are you doing properly? She said the most effective workout is. And maybe doing a movement you may think it might be a little easier at the time. It may be a little easier this time because you’re not doing it the most effective.

The coach will come around and say try this. And he will try it and it will be a little bit harder. It might be really harder and that means you’re doing it the most effective way possible. If it’s a little harder than that means it’s a little more challenging and the coaches know that you are up for the challenge. The coaches know that you’re up for the challenge and up for a little encouragement and you’ll be able to work a little harder and be challenged. Even little changes such as engaging your four. Little changes such as moving your arms at a 45-degree angle rather than a 50-degree angle at all depend on what movement you’re doing but you will make sure that you will be doing the most effective workout possible for the movement.

When doing a chest press will make sure your arms at 45. When you’re doing, let’s go out in Monterey shirt elbows are facing down in between your legs. Want to make sure that your knees are facing a little outward. Everyone is different. But the coaches are trying to figure out what works best for you. What works best for your body is that everyone is different so that’s why it feels like you have a personal trainer.
