Let’s continue today in a similar vein as yesterday.

You may be thwarting your progress with too much time spent looking.

Today’s word to dissect is motivation.

Are you looking for motivation?

Are you trying to find motivation?

Do you feel like the reason you’re not accomplishing your goals is due to a lack of motivation?

People often ask me what drives me or what motivates me and for a long time, I didn’t have a good answer.  (I still don’t have a great one)

As a matter of fact, I would say something along the lines of I don’t rely on motivation I just do what needs to be done.

Which is true and also inaccurate.

There’s something deep down that motivates all of us.

I’m still figuring what motivates me at the core.

In the meantime and to help you let’s look at the surface level and what can be done without oozing motivation.

I like to think of being pulled instead of motivating.

Further, I can generate and increase the strength of the pull which puts the power in my hands.

This pull comes from doing.

Once I start doing the force of the pull increases.

Exercise a little and the pull to exercise more increases.

Make some money and the pull to make more increases.

Learn something and the pull to learn more increases.

This is a double-edged sword, so be careful.

How can you increase the pull for the things you want to accomplish?

Hint: start small and start doing.
