You can have your cake and eat it too.

The rub is how much cake we’re talking about and exactly when and how much you are going to eat.

This equation seems to be what everybody is working to master.

How can I have X results and still do Y actions?

Examples include…

“How can I look like a cover model while eating the standard American Diet and not working out?”

“How do I save enough money to retire early while spending everything I earn now?”

You get the picture.

This is what we are all trying to do.

Almost, like we are attempting to get away with something.

Over the weekend my friend Greg mentioned to me something a fellow fitness professional said about staying lean that sums things up well…

Here’s Facebook post…

Let me repeat…

“IT’S THE ONE CHEAT MEAL I HAVE A YEAR.”

It comes down to choosing how good and how fast you want your results and how much “cheating” on the process you desire.

By the way, every answer is fine, there’s no right or wrong, good or bad, there’s simply consequences to all actions.
